Jewish Home and Hospital is a premier non-profit skilled nursing home and geriatric health care / rehabilitation facility employing skilled nurses, physicians and other professionals to provide excellent long term care, adult day care, home health care, health services and social / community services in the New York area. The nursing home provides health services for more than 5,200 senior citizens daily through traditional medical health care, long term care, sub acute care, rehabilitation services, community service and senior housing programs. These health services are offered on the Home's three campuses in Manhattan, the Bronx, and Westchester.
In early 2007, Jewish Home & Hospital called on BBH Solutions to design, install and maintain a converged solution that would run Voice, Data and Video over one network. Phase one of the project was implemented at Jewish Home and Hospital’s Visiting Nurses office, located at 404 5th Avenue. BBH engineers configured a Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express system with Unity Voicemail for seventy end users.
