Wellspring Capital Management, a private investment partnership, is focused on investing in or acquiring companies.  As the firm prepared for their corporate relocation, they needed an IT firm that could provide a myriad of technology solutions, including a new VoIP telephone system, network cable design and installation and wired & wireless network implementation. It was required that the project be completed with minimal oversight by Wellspring's executive team.  BBH Solutions provided complete planning, design, installation and project management services for the relocation effort.

BBH’s engineers worked with the client and the various vendors on the job to survey the new space and discuss which technology systems would best suit the needs of Wellspring.  Initially, BBH was not part of the architectural design team for the new space. Once BBH was on board however, it became evident that rethinking the data closet was critical. BBH worked with the architect to find solutions to accommodate the server racks, minimize noise and maximize the cooling systems.  As project manager, BBH was responsible for the successful design and implementation for all of Wellspring’s technology systems. In addition, BBH managed the VoIP phone system subconsultants during the design and installation phases. BBH's specific scope of work included:

• VoIP system design, implementation, configuration and user training
• CAT-5E cabling
• T1 PRI circuitry
• Wireless 802.11b and wired data and voice networks and firewall
• Facility IT management including the configuration of PCs and servers
• APC UPS system implementation and management

BBH facilitated a successful relocation project and was subsequently contracted as Wellspring’s ongoing network service provider. In this role, BBH is responsible for preventative maintenance on Wellspring's network systems, upgrade of hardware and software, and on-site IT services.
